The Cure Wish Tour

Colored pencil on heavy bristol paper (can't remember size, about 16"x22") The drawing is just the top composition, and the images at the very bottom in a row are all just stickers that I put in the frame to take up the extra space.

I did this one 9 years ago when I really started getting involved with colored pencils. I know I made Robert's hair way to big, mostly just to take up some of the empty space at the time. After Robert Smith, from left to right is it Perry Bamonte (a right-on lefty), Boris Williams, and Porl Thompson (who is a crazy abstract artist by the way). So where is Simon Gallup, the bass player?! I don't know why I didn't put him in there (he's the inspiration for putting 9 hoop earrings in my head a few years ago), but I put him in his own composition for my best friend's birthday not long after finishing this one, so I think he's covered
I wanted to use basically every color and still have it look like one composition, and I think The Cure is one of the few things you can do that with unless you're just painting rainbows...
